The T-shirt you design will be the official Urban Trees Long Beach shirt in 2022.  Urban Tree volunteers can wear when they are planting trees or just thinking about how great trees are.  Your original design should include a tree or other image that conveys the mission of Urban Trees LB  to plant and care for trees in Long Beach.  It can feature a slogan or words related to the value of trees. 

 

Include the project name “Urban Trees Long Beach”  somewhere on the design.

 

Entries will be accepted until Feb 21, 2022

 

Students currently enrolled at any school in Long Beach may submit an entry.

 

Each student can submit up to two entries.

 

Artwork must be original.

 

Artwork can be in any media, but we may need to reformat for printing purposes.  We will re-contact you if this is the case.

 

To submit your artwork, fill out the entry form and use the instructions on the form to submit the artwork.  

 

A panel of judges will  shortlist the 5 best submissions and then voting determines the winner.

 

Voting will be conducted online through Survey Monkey or other tool where every entry is marked with a reference number and the voter selects the option s/he finds best.

 The winner will  be announced on February 28. (fluid date)

1st prize includes a beautiful indoor plant, t-shirt with your design on it,  a $50 gift card and bragging rights..
